We will be issuing race numbers and timing chips on the day of the race. Please ensure you arrive in time for the race start at 11:00am, no later than 10:30am. For any friends or relatives who might still want to take part we will be taking entries until 23rd July online and from then we will take entries on the day, right up until 10:45am. A BBQ will be provided for all competitors after the event. Donations on the day towards the two doctors we are supporting, Dr Jonathan Levy and Dr Ranjan Thilagarajah, are most welcome. |

Prostate Cancer and Diabetes
The second Cirencester Charity FUN Run takes place on 25th July 2010 in Cirencester Park, by kind permission of the Earl of Bathurst.
We are aiming to raise money for Prostate Cancer and Diabetes - but with a difference: we want to give the money we raise to two consultants: Dr Jonathan Levy, who works in the diabetic field and Dr Ranjan Thilagarajah who works with prostate cancer patients. We want to be sure that the money we raise can go directly to where it is needed.
In 2008 we raised nearly £10,000 and were able to help these two specialists extend their work to help others.
Diabetes now affects over 2 million people in Great Britain. It is not yet curable but the medical researchers are getting ever closer and we must do all that we can to help, especially for the sake of the young who are affected.
Prostate cancer affects over 30,000 men in Great Britain, with over 10,000 of them dying every year. Our aim is to help others find a cure as soon as possible.
