
The RSL is an active part of the Port Pirie community. Port Pirie is an important industrial, residential, agricultural and tourist region of South Australia. The town is 200 kilometres north-west of Adelaide on National Highway One, located on the shore of Spencer Gulf and flanked by the lower Flinders Ranges.
Education Bursary AwardsThe Port Pirie RSL-Education Bursary Awards commenced in 2006 and has expanded to include students studying at all three secondary school in Port Pirie. One student from each of the participating school will receive $1,000.00 to assist them during 2010 to achieve their academic endeavours. |
Museum Recent Changes & New ExhibitsSome special displays have been mounted - 'Brew Up' and 'The Enemy 1939-45' along with changes to the general exhibition. |
