2009 Victorian 12 & 11/U Championships | 20-21 December 2008 | MSAC Outdoor Pool
Congratulations to all participants involved in this weekend's 12 & 11/U Championships held at the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre. The weekend saw some very impressive results in the pool and a number of records tumble as the top junior athletes of our sports displayed their prowess in the water.
Swimming Victoria would like to sincerely thank event sponsor Engine, for it's involvement in the event. All medallists were wrapt to receive Engine gear as a prize for their performances and the outdoor pool at MSAC looked very impressive thanks to the Engine team's efforts in sponsoring the event.
Thank you to all volunteer officials and volunteers that also assisted throughout the weekend. Without your valuable contribution this weekend, the event would not have been as succesful as it was.
The following Age Champion award winners are also acknowledged for their outstanding performances across the two days:
12 Years Female: Emily Zukic, Nunawading
12 Years Male: Liam Fisk, Nunawading
11/U Female (tie): Jemma Schlicht, MLC Aquatic and Karlene Pircher, Werribee
11/U Male: Nicholas Groenewald, Nunawading
