All designations of swim meets, qualifying and non-qualifying, conducted by clubs (excluding club nights) must be approved.
Regional Championships and A-Grade meets are processed by the respective Regional Associations and forwarded to SQ for approval.
B-Grade (qualifying and non-qualifying), Restricted (qualifying and non-qualifying) and Junior (qualifying and non-qualifying) meets are approved by the respective Regional Associations and notified to SQ.
All newly-approved meets are added to the Qld Swim Meet Calendar on a progressive basis throughout the season. Clubs should regularly check the Calendar for confirmation of their swim meet approvals as they will not be individually notified of the outcome.
To seek approval for a swim meet, a
SQ Request for Approval of Swim Meet Form must be completed and sent directly to the club's respective Regional Association.
Clubs are requested to refer to the following documents to assist them to understand and accurately complete the form, thereby avoiding delays in the processing of their swim meet approval requests.
