All members are expected to comply with Swimming Australia's Member Protection Policy.
This policy provides for ' …the protection of the health, safety and well being of all Swimming Australia members and those who participate in the activities of Swimming Australia, Member Associations and Affiliated Clubs.'
It ‘…sets out the procedures to be followed in dealing with harassment and other forms of inappropriate behaviour in an effective, appropriate and timely manner. The Policy provides a procedure for informal and formal resolution of complaints and a procedure for the appeal of such complaints.'
The Member Protection Policy applies to all those involved with the Club including swimmers, their parents, committee and sub committee members, coaches, spectators or sponsors. A copy of the Member Protection Policy is at the Clubroom.
The Codes of Conduct in the policy are in the back of the Handbook.
