Regional Track and Field Competition

On Saturday 16 February and Sunday 17 February 2008, all Little Athletics clubs in our region will compete against each other in Frankston. This is for U9 and above.

We have decided to send all our U9 and above age groups to participate in the Regionals. We will not run events at our centre on Sunday 17th for U9 and above. We will run a special program for U6, U7 and U8 here on that day.

Each athlete can compete at the Regionals in 4 events of their choosing. Nominations for events must be submitted to us before Christmas.

Place-getters at this regional event will be entitled to compete in the State Championships at Olympic Park in March 2008.

We encourage all parents to support their little athletes for this Regional event. Parents will be need to attend at the event to assist with our group, and to contribute to marshalling duties.
