If you have dropped out then please ignore this email

No need to reply, the office is now closed down until after the race weekend.

The Website - Your Race number
The Human Race Website has been updated with your race number and wave number (please remember them). Click on Race Entry List. (If you have changed your wave, you lose your age group status and are not eligible for a prize.) The Fun Runners will have their race numbers allocated at Registration, so race numbers for the run are not included in the website list.

Water temperature
Water temperature yesterday was 18 degrees C. Wetsuits are recommended, but their use is optional.

Weather forecast

Word is that the sun will be out this weekend...

Keep an eye on the weather forecast. Be sure to bring some warm clothes to change into post race.

Car parking

This will be on the grass area by the big tree. Please follow the marshals instructions. You can leave at any time. Do not leave valuables on open display - remember this is still a public place and carries the same risks as most places.

Please get to the venue early.
We have a lot of people to register.
Find your race number from the website and remember it so we can process you quickly at registration. At registration your race pack envelope will contain your wave
coloured swim cap, race number and sticky helmet and bike frame labels. You will also have to pick up your timing chip at another desk. It would be helpful if those in the first wave get there early and get to the front of the queues at registration. They are off first so let's get them processed first! You will need to show some form of ID.

Registration is open from 8:30am to 2:00pm. Plan to arrive at least an hour before your wave starts.

* Please note that the Children's Scootathlon for the Corporate entrants will be going off at the slightly earlier than advertised time of 9:45am*

Timing chip
At registration you will be issued with an electronic timing chip which you wear on your ankle under your wetsuit. There will be a Velcro strap holding the chip which fixes around your ankle; please do not lose this chip as you will be charged £35 to replace it.
You will also be given a security wrist band which you should show to the transition crew at all times to gain access into transition.

Relays
If you are part of a relay team, please be sure to read the Relay Team Instructions that are posted on the Human Race website.

Accommodation
The Copthorne still has few rooms available and is great value for a 4 Star hotel. The same rate also applies if you want to stay Friday or Saturday night and make a weekend of it. Contact:
leanne.bennett@millenniumhotels.co.uk and ask for the triathlon rate.

Food
Hot food and drinks are available upstairs in the Boat house as are toilets and showers (upstairs).

Please check the website for any last minute changes. Good luck and hope you have a great race at Eton on Sunday.

Let's try to beat the target of £100,000 for HSBC's Build a School projects in India. To help raise funds for the project, please CLICK HERE. If we raise over £100,000 the remaining funds will go the the UK charity The Place2Be. By making a donation, you can help us give children in India and the UK hope, a positive attitude, opportunities for success, and above all the chance for a better future.
