Also, to complement these training schedules you can use Nokia Sports Tracker – a GPS service for mobile phones that allows you to measure the exact distance, route and time of training sessions. These routes can then be uploaded onto the Sports Tracker website to keep for your own records, or to share with friends and training buddies!

The Swim...
For most, this is the most daunting aspect of a triathlon. So if you’re looking for open water swim practice prior to Windsor, then we have a couple of options; For practice in a competitive environment we have the Eton Half and 3Quarter distance on 23 & 24 May. We are also staging open water swim training sessions at Dorney Lake on Sunday 24th May. Each 1 ½ hour session will offer 45 minutes theoretical and 45 minutes swimming practical. Groups will be split into abilities and the triathlon experts will give you all the advice, top tips and knowledge to fully prepare you. For entry and further details visit www.humanrace.co.uk

Course Reconnaissance
We would strongly recommend you cycle the bike course before race day, as well as familiarising yourself with both the transition area and the run course. This will help you over the weekend. A good place to meet up and start your recce is Barry's Cafe on Barry Avenue (see race map). Informal groups meet there for 10am starts on Saturday mornings. (Pay and display in Barry Ave).
